Julia Child’s Beef Bourguignon with Parsley Puff Pastry Twists 🥰 When you feel inspired, magic happens 💫✨

Ever since watching Julie & Julia I have aspired to cook Julia Child’s Beef Bourguignon. I can confidently say this is the first savoury recipe I have followed to a tee, bar adding a little more garlic.

This is definitely a world wide loved classic for a reason. Tender fall apart chunks of beef brisket simmered in a rich red wine gravy, paired with crunchy baby onions (minions, as called by a special someone 😉) and Paris mash - this meal makes for the ideal family dinner.

This recipe takes a lot of time, and is made with much love. Every single step is worth it, so if you have the energy, I couldn’t recommend Julia Child’s Beef Bourguignon more highly.

I also added some parsley puff pastry twists 🦋 to dip into this decadent, heart warming dish - the kids will love these!

This recipe is alllll Julia, so buy her book, or find it somewhere online, I can’t take any of the credit.
